Fox Noise Attacks Obama... Again!

Dear Fox News or rather Noise, Your behavior goes way beyond the pale. In fact your type of excessive fear mongering displays exactly what you try to paint Senator Barack Obama as... foreign, un-American, suspicious, and scary. I realize your viewers are mainly the Limbaugh Ditto Heads but that doesn't excuse your spewing racist and bigoted defamation over our airwaves. You should hang your heads in shame but you have no shame. If you had a human attribute such as guilt you would have stopped long
ago to slander anyone who went against your mindset of the rich should get
richer and the poor should get lies and distortion. In other words keep the
ignorant, ignorant! Your sponsors are as responsible as you, in their disservice to the public and I hope with all that is good they will eventually become losers just like yourselves. Thanks,
thinkingblue.blogspot.com

Right now, FOX is trying to paint Barack Obama as foreign,
un-American, suspicious, and scary. They're trying to send Americans the message
that our country's first viable black candidate for President is not "one of us."

We've seen this before from FOX. They won't stop until it becomes too painful to
continue—until the public calls them out and advertisers start getting worried.

Now is the time to draw a line in the sand by putting FOX on notice that their
behavior won't be tolerated. Nearly 100,000 Americans have already expressed
their outrage. Can you express yours by adding your name to this message?

"FOX must stop injecting racism, prejudice, and fear into our political
dialogue. We intend to hold FOX, its advertisers, and its personalities
accountable for FOX's attempts to smear the Obamas."

We Won't Need The Expense Of A Supreme Court

If McCain wins in November, we won't need a Supreme Court any longer. When he throws in a few more conservative ideologues to further unbalance this court, we will all know their rulings on EVERYTHING even before they cast their vote. It's almost that way now except for the conservative Kennedy who in his declining years of life has turned into a philosopher, that is a person who seeks truth by thinking! But he is the exception, not the rule. The other justices vote along the lines of WHATEVER THE HELL THEIR KING TELLS THEM TO VOTE. Now is this fair to the people in a democracy... HELL NO! Believe me, not only will progressives suffer many conservatives will suffer too! Left or Right we all feel the pain of injustice!

Half America Would Be On Death Row

Angry politicians vowed to keep writing laws that condemn child rapists to
death, despite a Supreme Court decision saying such punishment is
unconstitutional.

"Anybody in the country who cares about children should be outraged that we have
a Supreme Court that would issue a decision like this," said Alabama Attorney
General Troy King, a Republican. The justices, he said, are "creating a
situation where the country is a less safe place to grow up."

The court's 5-4 decision Wednesday derailed the efforts of nearly a dozen states
supporting the right to kill those convicted of raping a child — and said
execution was confined to attacks that take a life and to other crimes including
treason and espionage.

More here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080626/ap_on_go_su_co/scotus_child_rape

: If it were up to many in the Republican party, half our population would be on death row and the other half would be fighting in some war the "R" leaders had created.

I know this is a big over-exaggeration but you have to ask yourself... what is wrong with these people?? They must have such pampered lives, they can't see society for the people. There are many appalling occurrences in this life and we all wished we could find a remedy to cure these societal ills. But when it comes to human brains one size does not fit all. Many brains take a beating before an individual reaches maturity. Some can be helped while others cannot. So we do wind up with macabre crimes. If the laws of the land put all such brain damaged people on death row they would have to build umpteen death rows. I believe putting one to death does not stop such horrible acts and only sets an example that killing is an answer. What's wrong with life in prison without the possibility of parole? And it is cost effective because it takes so much time and money before execution finally occurs that the life sentence is far cheaper. (for those who keep touting LIFE SENTENCE COST US TAXPAYERS TOO MUCH MOOLAH, KILL THE BUM!)

Since capital punishment is a fact of life in this brutal society, the Supreme Court must weigh what crimes it should be slated for. They are correct to only reserve it for homicide. If it started to pertain to crimes not involving a dead body, soon we would be on a giant slide backwards and they would start hanging hungry little kids for stealing an apple. Just as they did in days gone by. A grownup would have to pull on their legs because their bodies would be too light to choke the life out of their short existence. Is that the sort of society these people who want blood for all crimes the sick amongst us commit, really desire? If so, they are big time contributors to the ills we face today...

Boston Legal's Depiction of the Supreme Court...

Was right on target. When I first saw this clip, I couldn't believe how wonderful it would be if this was not fiction. Well, it seems the Supreme Court may not be as politically polarized as I thought but just one more Republican justice and it will be. When that happens a case like this will only be a fairytale. I can't embed it any longer but you can view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqlGoxfAkuU Thanks, thinkingblue
Supreme Court Fictionalized Dramatization

UPDATE: SUPREME COURT REJECTS THE IDEA OF DEATH FOR RAPE OF A CHILD:
WASHINGTON - Proponents and opponents of imposing the death penalty
for rape of a child underwent intense questioning Wednesday from a seemingly divided Supreme Court.

The hour-long argument came in the case of inmate Patrick Kennedy, sentenced to death for raping his 8-year-old stepdaughter.

Kennedy's lawyer, Jeffrey L. Fisher, told the court the death penalty for child rape under Louisiana law violates the Eighth Amendment protection against cruel and unusual punishment. More here:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24155465/

This is a short video clip that shows how the Supreme Court has become partisan during the long reign of the Republican Party. If only this depiction could be reality, our world would be a better place for us mortal human beings. But alas, it can never be, as long as we have the Limbaughs, the Coulters and the radical, religious wing of the Republican Party. Too bad, too sad!A comic review of the supreme court can also be found here: http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/04/30/daily-show%20-the-loveable-and-charming-antonin-scalia/

This dramatization in part, is based on a real event. To learn more about the plight of a man accused of raping a child and is awaiting the death penalty, just google (or use your favorite search engine) Kennedy v. Louisiana and it will bring up the many links regarding this case.

(A thethinkingblue personal opinion) When Gore lost the ability to have a recount in 2000 and the Supreme Court awarded the presidency to George W Bush, I knew exactly what was going to happen within this holiest of Courts. I knew, the great headway that was made to lessen human suffering would probably be overturned and that future supreme decisions would be handled by the judges, W. Bush would get to nominate to give the conservative ideology a court majority. It seems this de ja vu I felt was right on target. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out! The republican party has for 50 years had this as their goal. But I wished the hell I knew why? thinkingblue

The many faces of John McCain.

McCain Mcsame

The closer we get to the presidential election the more John McCain looks and acts like George W. Bush. I don't know what his strategy is all about but do we really want another term of the neocons and Bush? I think not! Perhaps, he is banking on another 9/11 or something to shock Americans into the same fear-hold Karl Rove and the rest of the neocon manipulators had on the people...You know that PNAC group (which has since shut down their site...hmmm I wonder why, does rats overboard mean anything?) But, the PNAC in order to unleash their foreign/military campaigns needed a catalyzing event like "a new Pearl Harbor". (neocon quote) 9/11 rode to their rescue. Now they were able to Pied Piper all the little frightened children into the black hole of hell. But their utopian plan did not work out so well. Maybe they need another Pearl Harbor because it seems the little children have lost some of their fear and may need a booster shot. How much more can we take? Obama or Anyone But McBush! Limbaugh tops his own bigotry with this one.

Below are a few comments from CLIPMARKS.
on the youtube video:
Directly From The Butt Of Rush Limbaugh
Thanks thinkingblue.blogspot.com\

__________________________

From thinkingblue at clipmarks: It's hard to believe what can come out of the mouth (butt) of Rush Limbaugh but his latest tirade is beyond belief, beyond disgusting, beyond loathsome.

Yes it's very hard to believe this mindless little man could stoop so low as to praise the flood victims in Iowa, Illinois who happen to be mostly white and at the same time, condemn the Katrina victims with the same old rhetoric, innuendos and outright bigotry that the KKK type people carry in their bags of hateful garbage.

Those poor hurricane victims, who happen to be mostly of color are responsible in the intolerant brain cells of Rush, for their fate. I know beyond the pale, is too weak a phrase for this criticism from a genuine butt-hole. The only bewilderment I feel of such a creep sputtering into a microphone that goes out over the airwaves is, WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE LISTEN TO HIS SHIT AND STILL THINK OF HIM AS A CREDIBLE BEARER OF THE TRUTH? http://thinkingblue.blogspot.com/
---------------------------------------------------------

From jmjoness at clipmarks
Ok, you must admit that there wasn't any
reference to race in any of his comments. He mentions illinois and Iowa as the
"backbone of America", that probably wasn't the wisest statement to make (even
though chicago is in Illinois...). I just wonder, since when did telling the
truth become bigotry? I agree with masbury that the comparison was certainly
flimsy (in fact personally I don't agree with comparing different events like
this at all, they are usually rediculous), but it doesn't change the fact of
what happend in New Orleans. Instead of helping one another, and doing
everything they could to get out, they became savage animals (I can think of no
other word to describe their behaviour, this is not a remark about race or
ethnicity) and they did overly rely on the government. I don't think you can
compare it to Iowa and Illinois, for the reasons masbury stated, but it doesn't
change what happend in New Orleans,,

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From: thinkingblue at clipmarks
Telling the TRUTH? Are you kidding me...? Did you even look at the video... Katrina was a category 5 hurricane that hit the heart of a vulnerable coastal state. One with many neighborhoods of poor people... Do you even know what the word poverty means? When one lives in poverty, you barely subsist. Surviving day by day with not much hope for a change in the future. Any little mishap becomes a major event. A flat tire, an increase in rent, food prices up, a car repair (if you're lucky enough to have a car), an illness (one which will make it impossible to drag yourself into work -again, if you're lucky enough to have a job)

Your language tells me you have no idea what it's like to be poor. These people would not have been huddled into a sports arena if they had the means to get the hell out of there. And then, after the horrendous devastation from this storm... they were left to fend for themselves... no food, no water, plenty of sweltering heat and disease. Babies, children, old people, sick people, mothers, fathers, no one was there for them. We watched this occur, helplessly on our TVs, as the suffering went from day one, to day two, to day three... With only a few private organizations holding out a helping hand to their fellow human beings.

Judgmental comments will keep you living in your La La Land of opinion... It's
nice and safe there, and you, Rush Limbaugh can sit around and judge that which you know nothing about. Such a fun sport.

Oh, and Limbaugh wouldn't know the truth if it could run up to him and bite him right on his RACIST, PREJUDICED, INTOLERANT BUTT!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

jimjoness says: so you believe this justifies rape, euthenaisa and other general acts of depravity? I've already said the comparison he made was rediculous, and I am no Limbaugh fan myself. The victims did seem to rely on the government to the point of absurdity, but maybe I don't understand the situation. Still, he was wrong to make fun of them, and wrong to make this comparison, but you can't defend what happened in New Orleans.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
thinkingblue says: I could sit here and type my thoughts on my keyboard, till I'm blue or red in the face but there would be no convincing you. There is no way anyone could ever change the thoughts of mindsets, to think objective about anything they judge to be a pseudo-truth. It reminds me of my little grandson, who will not eat anything different than what he thinks is only good tasting... Like hotdogs, pizza, jelly, peanut butter and ice cream. Put something new and nutritional in front of him and he gives you a big fat, NO. But he's only 7 years old and will most likely grow up and will eat everything that's good for him.
But I do have to mention, why must you insist on blaming poor people, victims of a terrible natural disaster, for their fate. Even the meanest amongst us could see it wasn't their fault, that is if they possessed half a brain. I just wonder what mindsets like yours would do if they found themselves so down and out with no place to run and no place to hide. Frightening, isn't it?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
jimjoness says: Why do you insist on ignoring what I'm saying
just because it's in opposition to what you believe?? I do not blame the victims
for the tragedy, i blame them for how they handled the tragedy. Don't you
understand what these people did???!!!! They were RAPING, AND LOOTING, AND
KILLING EACH OTHER. NOTHING can justify this behaviour, at all
-
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
thinkingblue says - I don't know why I am still responding to your callousness... But excuse me... you are blaming the Katrina victims for their suffering after they had the infrastructure pulled out from under them. And excuse me again, "THEY", you act as though every suffering face we saw on TV during that horrendous government disgrace, were RAPING, AND LOOTING, AND KILLING EACH OTHER... The "THEY' I saw were NOT! "THESE PEOPLE" were left there, by a President who's devoid of sympathy, empathy or concern for anyone who doesn't fit his ideal of worthiness. Abandoned, to fend for themselves in the middle of a brutal wilderness, unprotected and vulnerable to the forces of inhumanity.
Believe me I am not ignoring what you and your fellow mindsets are saying... But I sure wished the hell I could!
Anyway, we're all human beings and we deserve so much more than the pathetic, unfair judgments of the Limbaugh types. thinkingblue
On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated coastal areas of the Gulf
Coast states of Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, including the city of New
Orleans.
It was among the greatest of natural disasters to ever strike the United States.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so true, but words are important
just the same. What is happening in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina hit the
Gulf Coast region, is beyond pictures and beyond words
The babies, old people, desperate mothers, hungry, thirsty little children and
the dead bodies floating in the sludge mixture of the Pontchartrain river and
filthy debris left in the storm's wake, played out a nightmare scenario that no
movie set could have duplicated with more heart wrenching agony.
Now, Limbaugh, an arrogant ideologue
and hates the black victims of NOLA. He wants you to understand, it was all
their fault for not escaping Hurricane Katrina!
The last two times Bush and his Republican Congress had it somewhat annulled. The Judges did not do as they were told so their ruling cannot stand. The Supreme Court According To Bush.
THE SUPREME COURT, ACCORDING TO BUSH.
The Supreme Court - According to Bush and his merry band of neoconservatives the only function of this Court should be TO DO AS THEY TELL IT TO DO. Well the 4 lackeys' did just that, 2 of which he appointed himself, the others, one his Daddy's choice and the other (he wished he was his daddy) Reagan's. Good ole Reagan appointee Anthony Scalia, (Scalia on capital punishment: "Death is no big deal" {unless of course it's his or his loved ones} - Hypocrisy to the highest degree!) did Bush's bidding just like a good little justice was suppose to do. But the tie breaker was Kennedy (Justice Anthony Kennedy acknowledged the terrorism threat the country faces — the administration's justification for the detentions — but he declared, "THE LAWS AND THE CONSTITUTION ARE DESIGNED TO SURVIVE AND REMAIN IN FORCE, IN EXTRAORDINARY TIMES!") Thank all that is good that Reagan slipped up on this nomination, when he nominated a THINKER to the Supreme Court. Will wonders never cease? http://thinkingblue.blogspot.com/
Supreme Court delivers a SMASHING blow to BUSH and ADMINISTRATION today!
Suspected terrorists and foreign fighters held by the U.S. military at
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have the right to challenge their detention in federal
court, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday.
The decision marks another legal blow to the Bush administration's war on
terrorism policies.
The 5-4 vote reflects the partisan divide over how much legal autonomy the
U.S. military should have to prosecute about 270 prisoners, some of whom have
been held for more than six years without charges. Fourteen of them are
alleged to be top al Qaeda figures.
By BOB HERBERT
Friday was the 40th
anniversary of the death of Robert F. Kennedy. Had he lived, he would be 82
now.
It's impossible to gauge the what-ifs of history. But nevertheless, I wonder
what Kennedy, a complicated man with a profound sense of the moral issues at
play in politics, would have made of the idea that Barack Obama has captured the
Democratic Party's nomination for president.
He might not have been surprised. Kennedy had been accused of dreaming when he
said in the early 1960s that a black person could get elected president in the
next 40 years.
The fact that even a dreamer could imagine nothing shorter than a 40-year
timeline gives us a glimpse of the nightmarish depths of racial oppression that
people of goodwill have had to fight.
Yahoo Answers Why Peace Is Not Popular
This Last week I saw a video on youtube (below) that heartened me to ask this question on 'yahoo answers'. Review my question and the answers, (also below) you can vote on the best answer by following this link:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080530071903AAOUVEB
thinkingblue.blogspot.com
Hmmm.... I wonder why there were so few responses... Maybe, it's one of those questions that have no answers.
Why is peace not patriotic?
Why is Peace not popular?
This is a perplexing question I know, but is it really? It seems to me that war never benefits anyone, just maybe the corporations eager for profits that warring will fortify. Most people suffer and are devastated by war. Wouldn't it be a nicer world if war was never an option? No matter who was doing the saber rattling. When such a country displays a maddening eagerness to start one; The rest of the global community ostracizes this nation, rendering it isolated from any rewards until it comes around to a peaceful solution. Doesn't that sound so simple and applicable? Will it take a nuclear war to arrive at this simple solution? It seems that is what it's going to take for our world to become peaceful. Destroy it first then pick up the pieces and start again... thinkingblue.blogspot.com
ANSWER 1
Unfortunately, I agree with that last assessment of what it might take. I am of the opinion that human beings lie to themselves for their very definition. We are not usually noble, generous, loyal beings. We usually display greed, anger, and sadism first.
People have shown throughout history that rather than keeping "my child" and "your child" alive and healthy, we'd rather have "my child" be spoiled with unnecessary luxuries and have "your child" starve or die from some otherwise curable disease. If we don't see it happen, then it never happened as far as we are concerned. We lie to ourselves.
Peace is not popular because it is neither immediately lucrative nor does it have a "winner", if you will. I do not think people will ever see peace defined as everyone being a winner.
ANSWER 2
Peace is very popular, but talk is cheap....
People talk about peace all the time, how peaceable they are, how non violent
they are on and on....then we have these "peace" icons that blow up things. Or fight or whatever...
What would happen if you were in a room with someone who very much disagreed
with you over whatever, you did everything to get them to see your side of whatever view, is your first thought peace??
Again talk is cheap, actions speak louder then any words .
Why Is Peace Not Popular:
Peace is generally not considered popular, especially at times of perceived threats (real or not) because our culture does not teach peace as an option to conflict.
Our H.S. history books are a procession of wars given very noble places, for the most part, in our national ego, and the successes of nonviolence are briefly covered or ignored completely.
Most people never understand the political and economic dynamics involved in conflicts because it is just easier to believe that there are good guys and bad guys and the US is "always" wears the white hat in situations of conflict. This is easier than thinking. Violence is always the easier route to take. Peace is an ongoing process that needs to be worked at all the time.
Over 50 cultures have been identified by anthropologists that don't or didn't resort to the use of violence to resolve their problems. So it isn't mankind’s destiny or biological makeup to be violent, it is our cultural indoctrination to accept it.
This would change if we began changing the way our culture viewed violence and war as an acceptable solution to conflict. If people received better, more complete educations, especially better global understanding of other people and their ways, this would be this first way to reduce violence in the world.Taking a proactive approach to peace is another solution that is only given the most meager of support as compared to the world's obscene military budget of over $1.1 Trillion a year.
Leaders need to look at the world and identify the things that are likely to produce future unrest or violence and address those problems in "creative" ways before the situations turn violent. A cabinet level Dept. of Peace would be great for this.
Things like lack of food, medical care, educational opportunities, shelter, work, infrastructure, and access to clean water... all of these would cost much less than the world’s current military budgets; and addressing those issues would create jobs and stabilize economies. This could even create new trade opportunities for the US.
Don't get rid of the military, but begin using it more for humanitarian missions and missions of "construction" instead of destruction. Our soldiers wouldn't come home from those missions with PTSD and could learn skills that would be applicable to civilian life.The International Network of Museums for Peace has member organizations all over the world, including countries like Iran and Pakistan. These institutions give peace a space in a world that is preoccupied with violence.
The Dayton International Peace Museum, www.daytonpeacemuseum.org, is the only physically open peace museum in the US at this time as compared to the over 140 military museums, some tax payer subsidized.
The Dayton International Peace Museum website averages over 800 visitors a day, last year over 114,000 visitors, so some people do think peace is popular.
Peace can become popular; it just needs to be given a chance. By: peacemuseum
Scott Mclellan's Too Little, Too Late Book
McClellan's new tell-all book should not allow him to reap the profits of his silence when he could have possibly stopped the Iraq Unnecessary War.
CLICK TO READ BLOG MEMESTREAMBLOG.WORDPRESS.COMWhenever I remember how McClellan stood before the media cameras, lying and
protecting the lies of his masters, I feel ill. He made me sick then and he makes me sick now. At the time when our leaders were hungering for an unnecessary war and MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and the rest of the American media circus were not pushing them for absolute truths just allowing their war chants to go on without question. It was an everlasting nightmare!
Like a bad happening in your past you don't wish to recall, that is how I feel about those days after the September 11th fiasco. The PNAC had hoped for a new Pearl Harbor and voilà, that is what they got. When the whole country and part of the world was mourning our loss, these criminals were busy planning their next move to prove how smart they were. Nothing mattered to them except to realize their pipedream. Not lives, money nor respect was of value to them. 'Show the world that only we know what's good for it! Whip the juvenile occupants of Earth into shape!'
Now, one of the cabal members has written a book exposing the blackguards for what they are. Only he forgets he was once a member. He may be forgiven if he doesn't profit from his straightforwardness which comes a bit too late to be of any use to those who have suffered and are still suffering.
A word of advice to McClellan, "Donate your profits and go to bed and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep."
Please sign the petition to tell McClellan to give the profits from his book to the veterans and victims of this horrible war in Iraq by clicking this link...
UPDATE: The PNAC's stated goal is "to promote American global leadership."
Fundamental to the PNAC are the views that "American leadership is both good for
America and good for the world" and support for "a Reaganite policy of military
strength and moral clarity." It has exerted strong influence on high-level U.S.
government officials in the administration of U.S President George W. Bush and strongly affected the George Bush administration's development of military and foreign policies, especially involving national security and the Iraq War.
Paul Wolfowitz speech June 6 2001
Paul Wolfowitz gives a very eerie speech that is very suspicious! Note the
speech was given before 9/11 at West Point Military Academy to the class of
2001. Watch and you be the judge...
This next video is sickening to say the least...
Wolfowitz and Biden - 2003 Senate Hearing on Iraq
On 7/29/03 Paul Wolfowitz makes substantial misstatements on Iraq funding, troop
levels, and civilian security. Wolfowitz testimony is at best a joke when viewed
from an historical perspective.
CHENEY: "IRAQ WAR A QUAGMIRE" IN 1994
In 1994, Dick Cheney, officially declared that if we were to go to WAR with Iraq it would result in a total quagmire! He has yet to recant those words.
