I am fed up with hearing the Right-wing’s same old redundant BOBBEMYSEH… Why can’t they get a new SHTICK? I guess they are just too uninformed and blasé to do that! So their leaders keep feeding them the Red Meat they OH SO ENJOY and so on and on and on ad infinitum we will hear the right-wing buffoonery uttering the same ole, same ole worn-out material. Example: POOR PEOPLE ARE LAZY!

PS: Mitt Romney is a liar, a bully and a greedy SOB who has no empathy for anyone not in his class. He is so cold and calculating that butter wouldn't melt in his mouth; what a disgusting excuse for a human being. (That also goes for his running mate Ryan.) I will admit, he hides his meanness well behind a false shyness and oodles of fake smiles but his boldfaced lies give him away. Martin Bashir’s show gave an account of Romney’s bullying to let us all know the true deep down mean and pettiness of this man called Mitt who has the character of a devil. Those Of Us who are brave enough to face reality will relate to this video, those who are too afraid to view things as they really are and prefer to live in LA-LA LAND will not be able to understand it because it’s full of facts, you know those pain-in-the-neck details that verify certainty.

Romney’s claim about Obama’s welfare plan ‘ugly slur.’
EXCERPT: Gov. Mitt Romney continues to repeat the lie that “Under Obama’s plan (for welfare), you wouldn’t have to work and wouldn’t have to train for a job. They just send you your welfare check.”
Politifact.com gave that whopper a “Pants On Fire” on their truth-o-meter. The Washington Post Factchecker offered a similar denunciation, awarding Romney’s claim “four Pinnochios.” FactCheck.org also rated Romney’s comment as completely false.
The truth is that Republican governors in Utah and Nevada asked the Obama administration for some new flexibility on welfare standards because they had new ideas on how to move folks from welfare to work. The President agreed. Existing work requirements are still in place, but states now have some flexibility.
So, why does the Governor continue to lie about the President’s plan? It’s what the people of his conservative base like to hear. Romney is feeding the historic fires of resentment among extreme right-wing Republicans who refer to the poor as “the moocher class,” “parasites” and “welfare queens.”
Romney is trying to damage President Obama’s reputation by connecting him with long-standing disparaging, derogatory and belittling stereotypes which paint recipients of government aid as able-bodied people who are lazy, indolent and unwilling to work. It’s a patently false claim and an UGLY SLUR. (THAT’S PUTTING IT MILDLY!)

A Romney Win Will Be An OH NO For SCOTUS

If Obama manages to lose to Romney, a blatant unabashed liar and a flagrant SCREWBALL, the Supreme Court will become a dictatorship and not an impartial, objective observer who can make decisions according to the constitution and what is good for this nation and its people; A tyranny court of far right-wing, goofy and dangerous decisions.

When this court, in 2000, picked our next president against the will of the people, my one thought was, OH NO MORE RIGHT-WING JUSTICES WILL BE APPOINTED. Of course this SCOTUS decision to appoint Bush, also wrecked havoc on our country and society which left us quite bruised and damaged, still the USA, with time, was permitted to heal somewhat, with the election of an intelligent brain. Yet Dubya’s conservative picks for the court has continued to EASE ON DOWN THE ROAD and vote along an ideological line, so that, in a sense means that old George W Bush is still sort of, YIKES, at the helm. More conservative appointees (from Romney) will clinch the deal and we won’t need those 9 justices anymore, just sign on the dotted line and enact laws that will favor the rich and make the poor even poorer until they won’t be called poor any longer but slaves. It's a bit less likely now than a week ago that you'll hear people accuse the Supreme Court of being politicized.

That's because this week, the court ended its session with two controversial decisions — neither one of which was decided on the usual and predictable split between the five justices appointed by Republican presidents and the four appointed by Democrats.

But that doesn't make the court any less of a political animal.

Complaints about "activist courts" are common — and that phrase is easy to define, says Jeffrey Segal, a Stony Brook University professor. "Activism is a decision that people don't like."

A partisan court is a little different.

"Political polarization means that, by and large, the center is disappearing," Segal says.

There was a time when justices appointed by Democrats and Republicans intermingled in their judicial decisions. Ideological lines were murkier, and it was harder to predict who would fall where in a split decision. The last two justices who retired, David Souter and John Paul Stevens, were both Republican appointees who usually voted with the court's liberals.

Their behavior in the Republican debates has caused even jaded observers to react like an Oxford don stumbling upon a tribe of headhunting cannibals. In those debates where the moderators did not enforce decorum, these right-wingers, the Republican base, behaved with a single lack of dignity. For a group that displays its supposed pro-life credentials like a neon sign, the biggest applause lines resulted from their hearing about executions or the prospect of someone dying without health insurance. Who are these people and what motivates them? To answer, one must leave the field of conventional political theory and enter the realm of psychopathology. Three books may serve as field guides to the farther shores of American politics and the netherworld of the true believer. Most estimates calculate the percentage of Republican voters who are religious fundamentalists at around 40 percent; in some key political contests, such as the Iowa caucuses, the percentage is closer to 60. Because of their social cohesion, ease of political mobilization and high election turnout, fundamentalists have political weight even beyond their raw numbers. An understanding of their leaders, infrastructure and political goals is warranted. Max Blumenthal has done the work in his book "Republican Gomorrah: Inside the Movement that Shattered the Party." Blumenthal investigates politicized fundamentalism and provides capsule bios of such movement luminaries as James Dobson, Tony Perkins, John Hagee and Ted Haggard. The reader will conclude that these authority figures and the flocks they command are driven by a binary, Manichean vision of life and a hunger for conflict. Their minds appear to have no more give and take than that of a terrier staring down a rat hole. Blumenthal examines the childhoods of these religious-right celebrities and reveals a significant quotient of physical and mental abuse suffered at the hands of parents. His analysis of the obvious sadomasochistic element in Mel Gibson's films - so lionized by the right wing - is enough to give one the creeps. But the book is by no means a uniformly depressing slog: the chapter titled "Satan in a Porsche," about fundamentalist attempts to ban pornography, approaches slapstick. According to the author, the inner life of fundamentalist true believers is the farthest thing from that of a stuffily proper Goody Two Shoes. They seem tormented by demons that those in the reality-based community scarcely experience. That may explain their extraordinary latitude in absolving their political and ecclesiastical heroes of their sins: while most of us might regard George W. Bush as a dry drunk resentful of his father, Newt Gingrich as a sociopathic serial adulterer and Ted Haggard as a pathetic specimen in terminal denial, their followers on the right apparently believe that the greater the sin, the more impressive the salvation - so long as the magic words are uttered and the penitent sinner is washed in the Blood of the Lamb. This explains why people like Gingrich can attend "values voter" forums and both he and the audience manage to keep straight faces. Far from being a purpose-driven life, the existence of many true believers is a crisis-driven life that seeks release, as Blumenthal asserts, in an "escape from freedom." An observer of the right-wing phenomenon must explain the paradox of followers who would escape from freedom even as they incessantly invoke the word freedom as if it were a mantra. But freedom so defined does not mean ordinary civil liberties like the prohibition of illegal government search and seizure, the right of due process, or the right not to be tortured. The hard right has never protested the de facto abrogation of much of the Bill of Rights during the last decade. In the right-wing id, freedom is the emotional release that a hostile and psychologically repressed person feels when he is finally able to lash out at the objects of his resentment. Freedom is his prerogative to rid himself of people who are different, or who unsettle him. Freedom is merging into a like-minded herd. Right-wing alchemy transforms freedom into authoritarianism. ‘Long Live Zimmerman’ painted on Ohio State’s black cultural center

Ohio State’s University Police are investigating after someone spray-painted “Long Live Zimmerman” on the campus’ black cultural center.

University newspaper The Lantern reported that the racially-charged graffiti was apparently left Wednesday night or early Thursday morning on the Hale Hall building, which houses the Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center. The message is thought to be in support of George Zimmerman, a Florida neighborhood watchmen who admitted to the February killing of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed African-American teen.

“Ignorance is bliss,” Frank W. Hale Black Cultural Center Executive Director Larry Williamson told 10TV. “We want the person brought to trial, caught. We want to make sure these kinds of things don’t happen.”

Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee insisted in a statement that police were “vigorously investigating the incident.”

“Early this morning, I learned of a racially charged act of vandalism at our Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center,” Gee said. “Let me be very clear: This is not who we are at Ohio State. Racism will not be tolerated on our campus.”

The graffiti has since been power-washed from the building. Williamson said that security would also be increased in that area of campus.

It was not immediately clear if the police had any suspects or if surveillance cameras monitored the area. MORE AT LINK BELOW:

So where does all America's bigotry come from? It’s an age old question that no one (especially experts) seems to have a strong enough desire to answer. (or just maybe there is no acceptable answer) Of course we know human beings have the capacity to detest one another to the point of wanting to erase certain individuals or groups from existence.  Many feel a satisfaction in hatred and actually enjoy it. It is well, sort of a release valve (through rationalizing) for the inadequacies they mentally experience.  They feel abused within the system they live and need scapegoats to blame all this hurt upon. Also they endure inferiority and exhibiting intolerant behavior, gives them someone to look down on; which in return gives them a feeling of EXALTATION.

As long as we have the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Michael Savage and Ann Coulter et.al, who espouse bigotry and hate, over the airwaves; processing and editing their listeners and viewers thoughts for them, there will forever be repulsive occurrences like this. I wish we could find a cure because it is just like a cancer that will, slowly and eventually destroy the whole civilized system we (all of us) live in.

In recent weeks, homeschooling has received nationwide attention because of Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum’s homeschooling family. Though Santorum paints a rosy picture of homeschooling in the United States, and calls attention to the “responsibility” all parents have to take their children’s education into their own hands, he fails to acknowledge the very real potential for educational neglect among some homeschooling families – neglect that has been taking place for decades, and continues to this day.

While the practice of homeschooling is new to many people, my own interest in it was sparked nearly 20 years ago. I was a socially awkward adolescent with a chaotic family life, and became close to a conservative Christian homeschooling family that seemed perfect in every way. Through my connection to this family, I was introduced to a whole world of conservative Christian homeschoolers, some of whom we would now consider “Quiverfull” families: homeschooling conservatives who eschew any form of family planning and choose instead to “trust God” with matters related to procreation.

Though I fell out of touch with my homeschooled friends as we grew older, a few years ago, I reconnected with a few ex-Quiverfull peers on a new support blog called No Longer Quivering. Poring over their stories, I was shocked to find so many tales of gross educational neglect. I don’t merely mean that they had received what I now view as an overly politicized education with huge gaps, for example, in American history, evolution or sexuality. Rather, what disturbed me were the many stories about homeschoolers who were barely literate when they graduated, or whose math and science education had never extended much past middle school.
