The Lazy Poor Myth

I am so tired of the Republican-Reagan era propaganda that demonized poor people by calling those who need to feed their children, Welfare Queens. Isn't it about time that the truth be known and fingers point in the direction of the real Welfare Royalty who game the system and live a well-off life. A miniscule article tucked away in a thinking type magazine (The Week) is a start but it will never reach the GOP base that relish, for some unknown reason, perpetuating this false Republican notion that poor people are lazy...
