Thanks, O Birther! How much more can we, as a Nation, take of the Bush Administration's incompetency? How much more can we take of the embarrassment of having offensively conspicuous hectors as leaders? How much more can we take of the reckless spending of our taxes and the looting of our grandchildren's future? How much more can we take of living in THE TWILIGHT ZONE (An area of ambiguity between two distinct conditions: like total insanity and complete alienation)? I would resolve WE CANNOT TAKE ANYMORE if we wish to enjoy Truth, Justice, Freedom, & the Pursuit of Happiness. Our Nation will not survive as is, we have been taken, as they say, "to the cleaners" for FAR TOO LONG by these bunglers. If absolute power is to remain in their hands, we can all say GOODBYE TO AMERICA AS A REPUBLIC, GOODBYE TO LIVING UNDER A DEMOCRACY, GOODBYE TO FAIRNESS AND EQUALITY. Goodbye to the life we have known and have taken for granted; And HELLO TO FASCISM and all the tyranny that comes along with it. Impeach Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld or any person who does not possess the dignity of his/her office before the TIPPING POINT!

The phrase tipping point a term that refers to that dramatic moment when
something unique becomes common.

Maddi OH: Impeachment process would solve problems It is so long overdue that the impeachment process against George W. Bush be started. We the people need justice in this regard. Almost from the very beginning of this man's "reign" it was evident to any but the exceedingly rigid that the man was not up to the job. Impeachment is the only thing that will solve many, if not all of the problems we currently face in the United States.

I support this action. Impeachment is well earned, in my opinion and supported by the facts. I choose to let my tax dollars be used for something I agree with, for a change.

I have yet to understand how any of the American populace can continue to support an Administration that has knowingly lied and mislead them. An uncountable number of energy related companies have been aloud to squeeze every penny from each American family; we were told that this administration was not informed of the situation in New Orleans only to see video taped 24 hours before the disaster; we have multiple documents showing that the administration was intended on going in to Iraq before they had cleared the intent with the people of the United States through Congress and before they actually had any hard evidence of the need.
Now we are absolutely sure that the 4th amendment:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." has been violated by this same administration and our representatives in Congress are doing nothing to show us, the people of the United States of America, that they actually mean the best to represent our well being.

I believe that President Bush has demonstrated a lack of respect for the constitution, for human rights, and for the truth. He has misled both the American people and the Congress into an unnecessary war with Iraq, he has violated the constitution by instituting a secret program of warantless wiretapping, and he has ignored the Geneva Convention in his policies about the torture of detainees, who are often innocent of any crimes. He has demonstrated that he is a radical President, interested in power at any cost, in cloking his motives and his actions in secrecy, and in lying about his true policies (for example, dismantling environmental regulations under the "Clear Skies Initiative").

The Bush Administration is effectively turning the American dream into the world's nightmare. The average American no longer has a stake in America, but a stake driven through their hearts by the cruel and deadly policies of the Bush Gang. They all should be bannished from our land.

If Congress can try to impeach Pres. Clinton for not keeping his pants zipped, then with everything that Pres. Bush has done while in office, why hasn't an impeachment been done before now? He's lied, over and over again, he's broken the law repeatedly, and he's still in office. What is wrong with this pricture? The man is a liar, straight out. He's a felon beyond compare, and yet he still hold's the highest office in the land. Why is that????

As a registered Republican voter, I have become quite concerned with the course that my elected officials have taken. All branches of government seem to have little concern for my rights and freedoms as an american. It is your duty to pursue this matter to the fullest extent.

As the world's leading super power, we should not even consider a rudderless ship for the next two years, nor should we allow this administration to continue to undermine our Constitutional rights and bankrupt our nation.
To allow Bush/Cheney to continue in office is to risk even worse--the unleashing of nuclear weapons on the Muslim world. The damage from depleted uranium in Iraq is a crime against humanity that should not be followed by another of even greater magnitude.
His policies must be side-tracked now!

I was a republican and I'm sick of these neocons masquerading in republican clothing. They are un-American, big government loving, big business loving toady traitors. In good conscious I can not vote for the brown shirt fascists who believe in preaching morality while they rob and rape America. It's hipocritcal to say the least. We are quickly becoming Russia/China where anything and everything is for sale. The President needs to be impeached. Congress, with their new lax morals and ethical codes need to be thrown out by their ears and put into jail.

America is currently being held hostage by a corrupt and un-American administration. At this juncture, every American should be sick to death of being lied to and of having their rights and freedoms compromised. Impeachment of President George W. Bush is the only real choice America has in order to preserve this great nation for posterity. After impeachment, we must then promptly remove Bush from office so America does not fall victim to complacency, leaving no threshold for injustice, malice, and corruption.

Dear Respected Government Officials,
I realize it is an extreme and difficult decision to impeach a President, but Bush has committed so many violations of the law he is responsible to the people for upholding and/or abiding by, that to not impeach him insinuates that a President can operate above the law... which is really, in my opinion, a dictatorship, not a democracy. We need to have a trustworthy President again who operates on behalf of the American people and not at the expense of anyone and everyone who gets in the way of his personal religious and oil money making agendas, as well as his political ones that include managing the country via fear. Impeach Bush and give us the type of President a democracy should have, not this dictator!

In face of the great machinations run from within the Bush Offal Office by Karl Rove to maintain the Bush Cult Of Personality, the aggressive assault on the US Constitution and the wide atack on the on the USC, the almost total mendacity from day One of the Bush Administration on both domestic and international policy, the ineptness and ignorance that this Administration applies to everything it touches, what else must this most lapidable and corrupt bunch in order to be duly Impeached?

Is it wrong to expect for the Administration to defend and protect the Constitution, the citizens, our economic base and its engine that once fueled the great American Middle Class?

Only those pampered princes of power and privelege get heard or get any notice from this corrupt gang of self serving co-conspirators. Won't be much longer til we will all be without the pot to you know what in.

Ask the older Americans who have seen their pensions and benefits evaporate. Ask the middle aged Americans who have seen their once good jobs sent overseas by the millions, ask the millions of decent Americans who cannot afford any illness because they have NO insurance to back them up should they become ill. Ask the millions of hard working Americans who must work two and three jobs because the Big Corps whine about having to even pay minimum wage! Who is going to be able to afford decent houses and decent lives to raise families with, besides the ultra-rich who sure are benefitting from the very cushy taxcuts.

Who is in the Military today? Sure ain't the rich or the ultra-rich is it? And now we have to build a long, long fence with no more troops and just more jobs with the same very stretched and very tired troops.

What does it take to tell the truth about this inept, incompetent, incorrigible and completley corrupt bunch?

Dear Mr. Ruppersberger,
I understand you are a republican and Bush loyalist, however, per your last letter, I beg to differ that "impeachment" is extreme.

First, the Administration allowed, if not helped cause 9/11 to happen and there is vast evidence that proves that. Ask Jack Abramoff, who frequented the White House and had some of the hijackers as guests on his Casino ship. Second, BushCo and PNAC lied us into war to accomplish a plan at least 10 years in the making. Third, is the withdrawal from Geneva Conventions and torturing detainees who have no charges brought against them. Four is the use of depleted uranium and white phosphorous on the Iraqi people.

I fail to see what you find "too extreme" a measure for this treasonous regime whose party rigged the election with DRE's whose totals can't be tallied.

Every SINGLE item I mentioned is TREASON and MURDER. YOu have dismantled the US Constitution and your boss Bush has broken is OATH to the United States and is in major violation. Are YOU an accomplice or just a loyalist? I am a Patriot. Again, IMPEACH IF the democrats are allowed to retake the house (which I doubt due to the rigged elections that now exist).

We are not stupid.

Our President is an embarrassment to us in the world community. His leadership is shallow and he displays no compassion for the citizens of our country, much less citizens beyond. Before more damage is done to our economy, our ecology, our reputation, and the future for our children, he must be removed from office.

Of all the criminals we have incarcerated today, none have even come close to being responsible for as many deaths as these Liars have. They MUST BE TOSSED OUT OF OFFICE NOW!!! We can not allow this to go on for 3 more years!! I had no respect for this crowd before 2000 and they have lived up to their scummy incompetent reputation ever since. Once again, I do not want this scum poseing as leaders of the free world, this cancer must be excised !!!

A President cannot commit a more serious crime against our democracy than lying to Congress and the American people to get them to support a military action or war. It is not just cowardly and abhorrent to fool others into giving their lives for a nonexistent threat, it is that the decision to go to war, in a democracy, must be made by the people and their representatives. Given that the consequences is death for tens of thousands of people and the diversion of billions of dollars to the war effort, the fraud cannot be tolerated. The President should be impeached for committing fraud.

On December 17, 2005, President Bush admitted he repeatedly authorized wire taps without obtaining a warrant. Thousands of calls were monitored and the information obtained widely circulated among Federal agencies. These warrantless wiretaps violate FISA, which requires court approval for national security wire taps. Violation of the FISA is a felony. Recent revelations regarding the warrantless monitoring of millions of emails and phone calls by the NSA under authorization from the President are further violations of FISA and the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution. The President should be impeached for committing these felonies.

In addition, it is imperative that a full investigation be undertaken regarding President Bush's role in the systematic torture and abuse of detainees. Violating his oath of office, the Geneva Convention, and the War Crimes Act would constitute impeachable offenses.

Upon taking office, the President took an oath in which he swore to take care that the laws would be faithfully executed. He has been guilty of such gross incompetence or reckless indifference to his obligation to execute the laws faithfully as to call into question whether he takes his oath seriously or is capable of doing so. Our nation has no choice but to impeach the President

Incompetence Is Simply a Byproduct of Something Far More Sinister

By Bob Johnson DailyKos.com
Monday 15 May 2006

I don't think the Bush administration is incompetent, in the pure sense of the word, as so many pundits have claimed. Everytime I read that charge, it doesn't sit right in my mind.

No, that's not the whole of it, I think. Their particular brand of incompetence is an outgrowth of something else - something far more sinister. If those who populate this administration, along with their co-conspirators in Congress, were simply happy-go-lucky fools, the incompetence tag would hang on them like a too-big suit. They'd wear incompetence like a pair of oversized clown shoes.
Osama's escape, the Iraq Debacle, Katrina, Medicare D... The list of incompetent actions and policies stretches on for miles, as far as the eye can see on a flat, blazing hot desert road.

But "incompetence" lets them off too easily.

Incompetence is an outgrowth - or an end product - of indifference. Cold, callous, cold-hearted, criminal indifference:

Indifference towards the troops they put in harm's way.
Indifference toward the elderly who must cope with the trainwreck that is Medicare D.
Indifference toward the hundreds of thousands of Gulf states residents who lost everything in Katrina.

Indifference toward future generations by giving away national forests and refusing to abide by environmental agreements. Indifference after indifference after indifference.

Incompetence? Sure. But only because, fundamentally, they do not give a flying fuck about America or its citizens. (Nevermind how little they think of the citizens of the rest of the world.) They care only of themselves - and money. Simple, really.

It is no accident that indifference is a synonym for selfishness. And that selfishness can be synonymous with greed.

When Grover Norquist uttered his famous proclamation that his dream was to "drown the federal government in the bathtub," he was only giving the half of it.

The likes of Rove and Cheney and Rumsfeld quickly figured out that the best way to accomplish Norquist's dream - a dream they avidly shared - was to not only govern indifferently (thus underlying their assertion that government is an inefficent and ineffectual way of operating everything from wars to disaster relief), but that they also could enrich themselves and their corporate sponsors in the process, effectively looting the government as they "drown it in the tub."

"Two birds with one stone" and all that.

The deficit is no accident. It is the ultimate manifestation of Norquist's dream. Cheney and company (through their idiotic puppet and perfect foil, George Bush) paint the government as incompetent while bankrupting the federal treasury and lining the pockets of everyone from Halliburton to the religious right.

The Bush years have been nothing less than a criminal enterprise. Organized crime. Thievery on a scale never before witnessed in the history of humankind. Billions upon billions of taxpayer dollars looted from the national treasury and delivered to the pockets of the well-connected. (Tax relief? For whom?)

The NSA spying program was never about ferreting out terrorist plots. We knew that. It was simply another tool to be used to stop any person or entity which sought to uncover their criminal cabal. And the Patriot Act is more of the same. This crew will stop at nothing to protect their criminal enterprise.

So I wish the Paul Krugmans of the world would stop letting Cheney et. al. off so easy with the "incompetent" tag.

Like Liberace, they are laughing all the way to the bank.
